Gotham Trinity is looking for A PREDITOR! Fierce, ferocious, f...just kidding.

GTP needs a VERY versatile candidate to be the one-person-band, that can grab all the necessary gear for a recording, get to site, set up gear effectively, execute camera work superbly (understanding lighting and audio an absolute MUST), then head to the office/studio/home to edit the piece together, based on parameters set forth by the client.

The ideal candidate can be sent to any event (news, sports, entertainment, fund raiser, business gathering, etc) and can record in focus, well lit, great sounding footage and then establish a final edited product, because they understand how to blend sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story in a 15 second commercial, 2 minute news package, 6 minute feature piece, short film or documentary.

Responsibilities

Prepare equipment necessary for remote recordings
Work with GTP to book any additional crew necessary
Ensure proper lighting, audio, lens use & storage for camera
Communicate accordingly with client on site
Acquire all necessary footage
Establish a timeline with an assembly cut for client review
Include any necessary music, graphics and effects
Employ relevant video animations that tailor to the client's brand

Skills

Proven experience in all facets of production, especially as a camera operator
Superb organizational skills
Experience in wireless audio and basic lighting techniques
Proven video/film editing experience with digital technology and proficiency in the Adobe suite of programs
Creative mind and storytelling skills
BS degree in film studies, cinematography, broadcast, or related field, strongly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

12 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Night shift
On call
Overtime
Weekends

Experience:

Adobe Premiere: 2 years (Preferred)
camera operator: 4 years (Preferred)
producing news/sports/promo packages: 4 years (Preferred)

License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
