We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join the Agency Services editorial team, within Group Nine Media! As a member of the Agency Services editorial team, you’ll help build and grow social media accounts for exciting clients within the beauty and lifestyle space.

Job Description

The Social Media Coordinator will lead by example in demonstrating Group Nine’s values - Care Deeply, Be Brave, Go First, Do Good, Stay Close and Win Together.

  • Build and oversee social media content calendars
  • Write social optimized captions, headlines, etc. to increase CTR according to best practices per platform
  • Source, request, and organize assets from content creators, influencers, and in-house creative team
  • Manage social scheduling and posting across all platforms directly in app or in scheduling platform
  • Optimize social scheduling over time based on best times, etc.
  • Manage posting and responses to any LIVE social posts/sessions
  • Work with client on UGC and permissions
  • Work with client on growing and managing influencer network
  • Engage with audience across all platforms
  • Respond to user DMs and comments
  • Manage social swap partnerships and track social collaboration
  • Report on social performance
  • Work with audience development team on regular scorecards and other reports
  • Use tools like RivalIQ to report on any social metrics as needed
  • Develop a deep understanding of brand POV and voice to reflect in social
  • Work with the editorial team to facilitate syndication of content 
  • Serve as on-camera talent / face as needed
  • Build and grow social accounts for lifestyle brands
  • Grow social followings 
  • Grow social impressions and engagement within social platforms
  • Grow social community
  • Work directly with brands to amplify priorities (ie: product launches) across social platforms
  • Syndicate content across social partners
  • Stay ahead of changes in the social media landscape to be able to recommend and implement for clients
  • 1+ year of experience in social media
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to produce clean, witty, accurate social teases
  • Super organized with the ability to juggle many platforms and priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape, especially emerging social tools and platforms
  • Beauty, fashion, wellness, or lifestyle experience
  • Sprinklr and RivalIQ experience
