The Multiplatform Planning team seeks a self-driven Coordinator to help manage and execute in show promotional strategy.
S/he will support the overall owned media efforts across NBCUniversal by ensuring that all priorities for marketing and programming are being efficiently promoted on-air. S/he must be skilled in organizing and planning with the ability to hit hard deadlines, troubleshoot and pivot at a moment’s notice.
The Scheduling Coordinator will assist with the following:
• Help maximize viewership by strategically planning promotional elements according to marketing priorities, understand premiere plans, rollout and stunt strategies
• Plan in-show/live event promotion elements for NBC Sports, NBC Entertainment, Cable, Peacock, Symphony, etc., to align with company priorities and objectives
• Request and Schedule all elements including Greensheets/drop ins, live reads, Snipes, lower thirds, Bugs, Countdown graphics, etc.
• Help identify and build stunt strategies within live events
• Support NBCUniversal Symphony efforts by strategically placing custom toolkit assets within key programming and executing full company Roadblocks
• Collaboration across multiple teams, staying up to date with everchanging priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Close communication with project managers across Sports, NBC, Cable Marketing to ensure deliverables and timelines are met
• Track schedule program changes, creative revisions, etc., and update all respective documents and teams as needed.
• Liaison with Sports Marketing PA’s to ensure assets are delivered per production teams needs
• Assist with NBC Sports Livestream trafficking
• Assist with scheduling/updating the on-air promo logs, making revisions as needed based on creative, program date/time changes, etc.
• Audit Live Events to log in-show promotional elements for reporting purposes to internal and external partners or sales teams.
• Additional responsibilities, special projects and tasks assigned as needed
• Available off hours to make updates if event schedule changes and/or promotional assets need to be pulled or revised
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Television or related field
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills & communication skills
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and find solutions to timely issues

• Working knowledge of sport media or television landscape a plus
