Job Description
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- The Audio Mixer is responsible for the mixing of audio signals for live or recorded productions.
- The Audio Mixer is also responsible for IFB communications.
- Mix -minus to talent IFB, remote feeds and telephone signals and microphone and studio PA Setting up and breaking down audio equipment. Including wireless systems as well as all other audio equipment required per show.
- Testing audio equipment for volume, tone, and clarity.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree, or High School Diploma
- 3+ years of audio experience in a live television environment.
- Operate all audio broadcast equipment within assigned control rooms at an advanced level, including but not limited to: audio mixing consoles, intercom devices and microphone and IFB set up for talent.
- Candidate must have a strong understanding, efficiency, and skillset in television productions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating.
