Peacock Video Editorial is looking for a skilled operations associate to join our industrious Short Form video team. On weekdays, you'll help service our growing portfolio of programs by publishing on demand trailers to the platform. On the weekend, you'll make sure any breaking news and sports clips are accounted for and will also be on point during Saturday Night Live – ensuring the timely publishing of videos, performing operational triage as needed, and programming the playlist of sketches – all during the live show!

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to prioritize incoming video requests – sometimes under deadline pressure. You'll utilize a variety of CMS tools to kick off servicing orders and monitor their progress throughout the publishing workstream. Your commitment to reliable, consistent content delivery will play an instrumental role in our success within the competitive, rapidly evolving streaming entertainment industry.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide Wednesday - Sunday support for the Short Form team, responsible for servicing and supporting Peacock's streaming video supply chain
  • Provision trailers that will appear on product by helping to upload video files, gather metadata and thumbnails, QC, and publish through a multi-system pipeline
  • Actively monitor Saturday Night Live video delivery workstream to Peacock on live show nights – communicating and collaborating with operational, editorial, and tech colleagues to ensure successful publishing and playback – performing quality assurance while also creating the SNL playlist of all approved sketches
  • Utilize Airtable to enter and track updates, additions, and changes to requested videos
  • Support the tracking of high-priority clips from other NBCUniversal partners sharing short form to Peacock, troubleshooting issues on an ad hoc basis
  • Optimize and improve consistency of delivery and publishing cadences – implementing changes as needed while adhering to syndication guidelines, compliance mandates, and marketing/promotional obligations
Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be willing to work a Wednesday - Sunday schedule with hours that span into the evening
• Bachelor’s degree or 1-year equivalent experience in video publishing/operations
• Minimum 1 year of experience with:
o digital video file formats, encoding specifications, publishing workflows, governmental compliance standards and troubleshooting techniques
o content management systems trafficking high volume, time sensitive media assets for multi-platform syndication
• Working knowledge of non-linear editing systems (we use Adobe Premiere) and Adobe creative suite, especially Photoshop and Encoder
• Familiarity with MAMs, DAMs, and/or CMSes
• Experience with repetitive workflows and staying calm in high pressure situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially over instant message and email
Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be considered
Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
