CG Lighting Artist
Summary
Ingenuity Studios is seeking a Lighting Artist, responsible for the lighting and rendering of CG characters, objects, and environments in live-action episodics, feature films, music videos and commercials. Teamwork and collaboration are key as this role interacts with a variety of departments, including VFX Supervisors and Production, working closely with one another to accomplish all tasks. Our Artists require a high degree of technical skill and artistic judgement.

Responsibilities
Light / look develop for integration of CG elements
Light / look develop for full CG shots
Interface with other departments to collect assets and shots forward
Optimize your render set-ups for efficient render farm usage and to improve the quality of results
Ability to create lighting setups to be used by other artists
Requirements
At least one year of experience as a Lighter in a VFX Production environment
Knowledge of Houdini or a willingness to learn
Knowledge of Maya
Experience with Renderman a plus
An understanding of compositing techniques in Nuke
A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
