Job Description
WOI Local 5 News in, the Tegna station is Des Moines, IA is looking for a photojournalist to join our news team for Friday Night Blitz. Our ideal candidate is familiar with shooting high school football games on Friday and edit for a one-hour highlight show to air at 10:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
• Shoot highlights for assigned high school football game
• Edit, file and post a variety of video elements
Job Requirements:
• Experience in photojournalism and editing - preferably in a local TV news department
• Ability to capture engaging content in real time
• Must be flexible with schedule, reliable and dependable.
• Knowledge in non-linear editing systems.
• Ability to work under constant time pressure deadlines
• Valid driver’s license
Work Environment: Outdoors
Work Environment Set: Outdoors: performed in various outdoor environmental conditions
