Job Description
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Recruiter maintains responsibility for managing the full life cycle recruitment for various functions within AMC Networks (AMCN) reporting to the Director, People Operations. As a TA Recruiter, you will be a highly visible representative of our organization and will be accountable for the following processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment process
- Conduct recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers to properly scope roles and business requirements and define sourcing plan
- Ensure job descriptions are compliant with applicable laws and regulations
- Utilize sourcing strategies that integrate the identification and attraction of a diverse pool of candidates
- Appropriately screen candidates, including face-to-face interviews, to assess skills and ability to meet job requirements, creating a short list of candidates for the hiring manager to consider
- Assess internal candidates for open positions to promote internal growth and development
- Deliver a stellar and engaging candidate experience through effective and efficient recruitment practices, timely communication and professional interaction
- Organize and lead debrief sessions on candidates with hiring managers and interview teams
- Manage the offer extension and acceptance process with the selected candidate, including negotiation of offer terms as applicable, and ensure timely feedback to alternate and declined candidates
- Remain up to date on market trends and competitive analysis
- Continuously build pipelines of talent to enable proactive recruitment and partner with early talent recruitment team to identify pipelined talent
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, People & Culture team, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team and TA colleagues to create partnerships that foster and yield consistent results
- Develop a thorough knowledge of AMCN’s business and culture, and our industry, in order to help candidates fully understand the opportunity
- Maintain recruitment data within Workday ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Review and analyze candidate data to identify gaps, drive process change, and tell our TA story
- Support additional TA and People & Culture projects as needed
Qualifications (Required & Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience required
- Demonstrated experienced working within an ATS required (Workday strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Excel (Xlookup, Pivot Tables Preferred)
- Prior recruiting experience for a broad base of corporate functions required
- Prior experience working within the Media and Entertainment industry desirable
- Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements applicable to candidate interactions throughout the recruitment process
- Knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques
- Exhibited success as a team player and individual contributor
- Demonstrated ability to follow process while being able to insert creative recruiting strategies
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills to effectively manage multiple open requisitions at the same time
- Flexible and adaptable at reprioritizing as needed to support the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively among all levels of the organization
The base compensation range for this position is $87,000 to $105,000 commensurate with experience.
