Job Description

The Paramount+ International Marketing Team is looking for a Senior Director, Strategy. They'll report to the SVP of Content Marketing in developing strategies and implementation plans to launch content campaigns across our international markets.

Our ideal candidate has experience across entertainment marketing, content marketing, social marketing, and brand marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead international campaign planning, go-to-market strategies for international content campaigns, in partnership with US and local international social and marketing teams, developing and evolving plans and marketing tactics specifically for our international markets
  • Plan and implement marketing and social strategies inclusive of creative tailored to increase reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, agencies, publishers/platforms and other partners to identify, implement, and measure performance.
  • Implement our editorial and publishing strategy with a unique tone and perspective for our audiences across key platforms and beyond.
  • Establish scalable methodologies and mechanisms that enable fast and adaptable content development and distribution.
  • Engage and inform a passionate customer base and drive deeper connection with the brand.
  • Drive content amplification on existing and emerging platforms, as well as other mediums such as broadcast, digital publications, and influencers.
  • Manage a slate of ideas and the editorial process with internal and external resources.
  • Ideate and build content with a strong hook and personality while innovating ways to format and present ideas.
  • Collaborate with brand and title strategy teams to understand our audience and brand positioning, crafting a framework for metrics, goals, and attribution for success.
  • Lead all aspects of reporting and dashboards for marketing programs, communicating core information to Executive Leadership, Marketing, and PR/Comms teams – Analyze performance and make both real-time and long-term recommendations for optimizations.
  • Be considered an expert on market trends, providing inspiration and thought leadership on ways to engage customer cohorts.
  • Lead all aspects of quality and development of creative (concept) briefs and agency briefings as well as asset briefs to drive concept to content, seamlessly connecting social to our full ecosystem.
 
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience within entertainment, content, and social marketing.
  • Advanced decision-making skills with shown ability to drive direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical ability combined with clear and effective written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of both organic and paid social media, including platforms, trends and targeting approaches.
  • Ability to brief and concept high-quality social and A/V content.
  • Sophisticated understanding of online social platforms and the native formats that work on each.
  • Excellent editorial judgment and ability to find and know what’s trending with our audience.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, analytical mind and curious/ambitious approach with a willingness to learn, explore, and reinvent.
 
Additional Qualifications:
  • A creative nature, constantly striving for new ways to engage audiences.
  • Experience working within international markets preferred.
  • Consumer of TV/Entertainment content and passionate about it.
  • Entertainment Marketing experience, preferred.
  • Someone that spends their personal time consuming video content.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and resilient spirit with experience navigating cross-functional organizations.
Hiring Salary Range: $124,000.00 - 160,000.00.
