Job Description

The Programming Coordinator will be responsible for establishing the programming grids for different channels and assuring strong coordination with all stakeholders involved in the process to deliver high-quality programming within guidelines and local regulations.

This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.
 
The Opportunity & Responsibilities:
  • Editorial and technical control of Channels, Non-Linear and metadata modules;
  • Generate programming grids of the channels by using the software needed, and listing documents on a monthly basis;
  • Execute necessary programming listing changes, making sure all updates are communicated both internally and externally;
  • Monitor progress of programmer’s premieres, assure adherence and evaluate performance screening series, provide age certification;
  • Follow the running series, in origin countries, football games and other televised events;
  • Identify any technical issues in Programming and follow its resolution with international support if applicable.
The Experience We Require From You
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese, Spanish is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Programming and/or TV media;
  • Previous knowledge and experience working with WhatsON;
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Excel and other technical skills:
  • Product knowledge and technical expertise relevant to the role;
  • Proactive, dynamic, motivated, versatile, responsible, strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and with team spirit.
  • ​Graduated in Media studies humanities or other equivalent area;
  • Interest and a taste for learning in general and in particular about Television;
