Job Description

When the most anticipated sporting events happen on FloSports, the Connected TV (CTV) team is a driving force in delivering the best way to watch: on the big screen! 

As the Product Manager of our CTV products, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to revolutionize our 10-foot experiences across an array of platforms including Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Casting and Smart TVs. Your role will be to harness your insights from discovery, coupled with your industry expertise, to craft a product vision for our TV applications.

Our ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a proven track record in crafting immersive fan experiences in the B2C streaming space. You’ll dive deep into each of the personas across a number of sports verticals, and sub-genres within those sports to articulate requirements that will deliver an intuitive, simple-to-use, and scalable experience that appeals to a variety of passionate fan bases.

  • Develop a strategic roadmap and vision for the FloSports CTV platform, aligning it with our overall product strategy and business goals.
  • Drive the redesign of our 10-foot experience, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly interface for viewers on major TV platforms.
  • Lead the ideation, prioritization, and execution of new features and enhancements for the CTV platform, based on user feedback, market research, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to ensure smooth integration of the FloSports platform with various CTV platforms, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance across different devices.
  • Continuously analyze user behavior and feedback to identify areas of improvement in the 10-foot experience, focusing on intuitive navigation, content discovery, and seamless playback.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with major CTV platform partners (e.g., Roku, Amazon, Apple) to stay up-to-date with platform updates, leverage new features, and optimize our presence on their platforms.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics to assess the success and impact of the CTV platform, leveraging data-driven insights to drive decision-making and inform product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, content, and marketing teams to ensure successful end-to-end execution of CTV initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape, analyzing competitor offerings and identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation within the CTV space.
  • Own the casting experience end-to-end from mobile to TV, ensuring the interconnected native apps ecosystem is optimized and stable for fans
  • Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders across the organization, including executives, engineering teams, and content partners.
  • Become fluent in the monetization strategy for our TV apps, working closely with the Ad 
  • Ops team to leverage the potential of our CTV platform to generate revenue through targeted advertising.
  • Must be in Austin, on site 4 days a week. Remote is not an option. 
  • 3+ years of experience in product management within the digital streaming or CTV space.
  • Strong understanding of Connected TV platforms and ecosystems, including Roku, Fire 
  • TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and casting to smart TVs.
  • Experience building native app products; mobile and/or TV.  
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering consumer-facing products and features, with a focus on user experience and engagement.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative data to drive product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the streaming landscape and customer expectations.
