Job Description
Do you have great video camera, video game or drone piloting skills? Do you have a solid knowledge of Central Florida roadways and a flexible schedule? Then this position is for you!
Our ideal candidate will operate our HD camera aboard our Robinson R44 helicopter for TV & Radio stations in the Orlando Area, as well as perform voiced traffic reports for our partner stations.
This is a Part-Time position (30hrs a week) based at the Orlando Executive Airport (3024 East Amelia St Orlando, FL 32803). The anticipated schedule including Helicopter video work is primarily weekdays M-F, shift hours could change throughout the week. Some occasional weekend fill-in work is required. The schedule, days and hours are subject to change based on business necessity.

Responsibilities
- Announces the latest accidents and traffic hold-ups in a fast paced environment for our TV & Radio partners.
- Manages gathered information; keeps all facts straight, makes sure details are accurate and current and tracks any changes.
- Required to report live on location from our Robinson R44 Helicopter, to paint a visual picture (bird's eye view) of traffic and/or unfolding news events.
- Plan and execute compelling video shots, both live and prerecorded, for our television partners.
- Requires flexibility in work schedules.
- Uses social media such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tik-Tok etc for photos and videos of traffic conditions.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of central Florida geography and roadways and traffic patterns
- Pleasant, charismatic and well-controlled voice; excellent pronunciation
- Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, “newsroom-like” collaborative environment
- Strong attention to detail, following up until issues are resolved
- Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multi task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in camera operation, video games, drone piloting.
- Familiar with social media.
