Telemundo Atlanta is in search of a highly skilled full-time bilingual Creative Director to lead a team and oversee the end-to-end production of promos, sizzle reels, client spots, PSAs, and sponsored short and long format segments for our station. The ideal candidate should bring experience in managing Spanish language spots, creative, and marketing projects. Additionally, this role involves serving as the event manager for both station signature events and community engagements, further emphasizing the importance of leadership and collaboration.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Lead and manage a team to develop and implement creative strategies for on-air promotions, branding, and marketing initiatives.
• Oversee scriptwriting, video editing, and graphic design.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop promotional partnerships and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate station signature events from concept to execution.
• Manage Telemundo Atlanta's presence at community events, enhancing brand visibility and community engagement.
• Effectively handle trade agreements with partners to maximize promotional opportunities and mutual benefits.
• Produce dynamic marketing campaigns for the station across all media platforms, optimizing reach and impact.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit commercials.
• Stay updated on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscapes to refine creative strategies.
• Manage the creative services budget, allocating resources for maximum impact.
• Proficiency in Editing Software: Adobe CC, Avid, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Edius.
• Oversee scriptwriting, video editing, and graphic for various multimedia platforms.
• Effective communication skills to understand and address the needs of clients and the station.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate, comprehend, and create content in both languages.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and activating at events to enhance brand presence.
• Familiarity with Telemundo Programming is a plus!
• Experience in television broadcast marketing a plus!
Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.
