Job Description

This position will work a 7-day fortnight on a day shift pattern 08:00-20:00.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Audio editing & QC’ing to support our worldwide Audio departments
  • Audio tracklaying, clean up and sync
  • Full technical QC of material before it is despatched to clients
  • Conforming and ingest of audio material
  • Ensure that all deliverables are complete & delivered on time
  • Make deliverables for all our major clients as requested, including DVD, Blu-Ray and Hard Disk Masters
  • General file management duties
  • Assist the Head of Audio, Audio Operations Manager and Audio ICO team on a daily basis and be aware of all materials needing to be delivered from the facility via various digital platforms
  • Ingest all audio data onto our servers and systems throughout the facility
  • Provide support to all the mix stages, and make sure that all audio materials are made available in a timely manner for the allocated work schedule
  • Archive appropriate audio material
  • Responsible for backup and maintenance of audio material and drives
  • Follow and comply with client audio checks upon request
  • Maintain and update client excel sheets/trackers
  • Liaise with clients
Preferable experience and skills include: 
  • A good understanding of Film Sound Technology – i.e. the post production process, various file formats, and the post production workflow
  • Basic ProTools knowledge required
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Able to work under pressure and meet very tight client deadlines
  • Capable of working in a team and being a very strong team player
  • Available to work long hours and weekends to meet clients deadlines as requested. These hours could be at very short notice
  • Willing to learn new technology and take on new responsibilities as and when needed
  • Adaptable and dynamic approach to a fast paced environment
