Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Redefine the brand framework for Star Sports to ensure that it is in sync with the fan expectations and remains relevant in today’s multimedia world.
- Define the omnichannel fan experience with the SS brand and ensuring that each experience for the fan is world class.
- Helps design & define the digital/social experience and ensure that the brand increases fan engagement, to start and maintain consumer dialogue in social media.
- Define the social roadmap & the role that each social platform needs to play in acquiring and engaging fans.
- Fosters a strong opinion-leader network in culture and entertainment to drive brand image and visibility.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
- Delivering brand awareness / preference metrics for SS
- Managing brand standards across all touchpoints
- Fan acquisition & engagement metrics
- Cross functional collaboration
QUALIFICATION
- MBA (preferably from premium B School)
- 10-12 years of experience in Marketing with at least 5 years in Brand Marketing honed over large iconic Indian / global brands
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies
- Ability for leading the execution in a multi project, multi stakeholder environment
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns at PAN India level
- Data and Insights Driven decision making
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Avid Sports enthusiast
- Disposition to groom the next line of Brand Managers to lead independent projects and progressively take up higher responsibility
