Thrillist is seeking a wildly creative Video Editor for our growing Video team based in New York City. In this role, you’ll shape all manner of compelling videos including social-first short-form stories for facebook, short-to-mid-form youtube shows, and many other videos for established and emerging platforms, including documentary, scripted, reality … maybe even a game show. The ideal candidate is immersed in, and in love with, the process of telling stories through understanding of video editing techniques, and comes in with a working knowledge of how to create top-notch, narrative stories, that hook you and keep you watching to the end.

The Video Editor I position will be responsible for editing original content for our BR Betting team. The Daily Edit daily social video to support programming initiatives for the BR Betting vertical. Export deliverables for all social platforms and our mobile app. Transcribe and add captions to certain deliverables. Ideate and pitch ideas for new original content for betting initiatives. The Lyft Creative team is looking for an experienced senior level Designer with a background in digital design and illustration. You’re a proactive problem-solver and a natural collaborator. You’re comfortable developing and iterating on a wide range of ideas from brainstorming and sketching through execution and refinement. The producer gathers and selects news content, writes and copy edits stories, assembles the stories into a rundown, and creates graphics and visuals to complement the presentation of material for the on-air broadcast and digital platforms. This includes generating story ideas, writing and/or producing packages for air. Work closely with News Managers, Assignment Desk, news reporters and other newsroom employees on story conception and development and execution of story. Create and write content for digital platforms that cross-promote and/or supplement station’s news gathering efforts. Participate in editorial meetings, contributing ideas and innovative ways to present material.
