We are searching for a creative and passionate Wardrobe Associate that can aid in bringing to life various looks for our non-union productions. The ideal person will be an expert in fashion with several years of TV/film production. They have on-set styling experience, deep product/brand knowledge, and have their finger on the pulse of trend forecasting. They are a strong communicator who is able to handle a myriad of responsibilities and work closely with team members, talent, and crew. They take feedback constructively and contribute to an environment of communication and accountability. This is a dynamic, high-volume position that requires a proactive problem-solver who is able to prioritize, pivot, and exercise good judgment. This role interacts closely and frequently with various cross-functional teams therefore strong communication, interpersonal skills, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving competencies are crucial.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
- Reviewing scripts with the Pre-Production Team and Directors to ensure needed looks are communicated
- Conducting off and on-set wardrobe fittings for talent on a regular basis
- Acting as point person on-set for Director, Photographer, and Art Director for style direction
- Troubleshooting styling challenges on-set using knowledge of the visual guidelines
- Executing shopping runs, pick-ups, and returns when required
- Ensuring all purchases and supporting receipts are logged and tracked for cost tracking and budgetary purposes.
- Analyzing styling productivity to help contribute and implement process improvements
- Unpacking, prepping, and steaming all clothing for shoot racks
- Ensuring all wardrobe and accessories are returned and inspected after every shoot
- Assisting in tracking and maintaining wardrobe room and on-set inventory
- Determining the correct colors, tones, textures and looks according to lighting and location of each scene
- Creating lookbooks for wardrobe styling purposes
- Offering wardrobe selections for each shoot based on script needs and fashion styles that pertain to the age demographics portrayed
- Maintaining wardrobe areas within our studio in a clean and neat fashion
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- A minimum of 3+ years working within the film industry as a Wardrobe Associate/Stylist
- A portfolio demonstrating various wardrobe looks
- Proficiency in project management and budgeting software (Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)
- Strong understanding of lighting, videography, and photography
- Superior attention to detail with a creative and artistic mindset
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Flexible work schedule that may include nights and weekends
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
WHO OVERSEES YOU:
The Wardrobe Associate will report directly to the Production Manager

Currently, the Wardrobe Associate has no personnel reporting directly to him or her
WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:
All the action takes place at our BRAND NEW studio in Burbank, CA

This is a full-time role that will require schedule flexibility and will be discussed during the interview
