Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Capture visual content for multimedia platforms, including internet and digital channels
  • Ability to operate field equipment including solid understanding of field lighting and audio
  • Work cooperatively with List talent assigned to a story in the field, studio, and in edit
  • Drive and maintain company production vehicles
  • Edit visual content and edit short form (:30-3:00) stories and content 
  • Flexibility while working with producers to ensure a high-quality product consistent with the shows brand
  • Work easily in a team structure with diverse skill sets to create the best product for the show
  • Manage and maintain video files and file structure
  • Team Media Management (Drives/SAN etc)
  • Full understanding of Mac computers Final Cut Pro X edit system
  • Attention to detail and able to constructively take notes on package material
  • Complete understanding of sound FX and music applicable to video elements
  • Knowledge of motion GFX and use of templates
  • Responsible for operating various equipment, including, but not limited to, video camera and video editing equipment
  • Gather story related materials (sound and video) on a timely basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Associate's degree in journalism or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field preferred
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Proficiency in non-linear, editing, including Final Cut Pro X
  • Excel in storytelling through video and GFX
  • Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in posting content to the Web site
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Self-starter, ability to work in a team environment, performing wide range of functions in a boundary-less way
  • Able to work under pressure and meet multiple daily deadlines
  • Able to easily adapt to change
  • Knowledge of working remotely using programs such as Splashtop or Team Viewer                                          Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Valid driver's license and good driving record required. In addition, proof of insurance and liability coverage may be required.
