Job Description
KSDK, Five on Your Side in St. Louis is recruiting an experienced technical director to join our team for vacation relief. We are seeking a team player who has control room and production experience, is creative and thinks outside the box.
A flexible schedule is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Operate Sony`s ELC live automation system during newscasts
- Perform routine show reviews
- Combo direct and TD special events and pre-production
- Execute clean newscasts while keeping a pace expected by production managers
- Meet with show producer for every show, review needs and suggest ways to execute particular elements
- Operate handheld and jib cameras as needed for shows and productions
- Non-linear editing of promotional material
Job Requirements:
- Automation system TD/Directing experience a must, ENPS and ELC preferred
- Experience with Bit Central playback system or a similar server based playback system
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and must be a team player
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize needs simultaneously.
- Experience with Edius and Adobe Creative Suite
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- This is a union position (IBEW)
