Responsibilities:
  • Execute plans for organic social visuals and videos to enhance the engagement across social channels within brand guidelines
  • Brainstorm video ideas and edit videos from briefs provided by social team
  • Edit social videos from start to finish, source footage from content library, provide string outs, fine edit & motion graphics for social videos for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and other emerging platforms
  • Resize & optimize videos from behind the scenes & the ad agency for organic social
  • Create templates for content producers in other territories
  • Build other social media assets, including carousels, Stories, cinemagraphs, etc.
  • Source, cut and upload gifs to Giphy
  • Caption videos using Premiere or Kapwing
  • Assist with graphic design projects for various departments when necessary
  • Work in conjunction with the Social Media Manager to help schedule posts and monitor comments
  • Work in conjunction with the Social Media Manager to review performance and optimize content
  • Stay up to date on the Social Media space and entertainment industry to capitalize on trends and best practices that can be applied to Sundance Now
Key qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 1+ years’ experience in Social Media Marketing, specifically content creation for organic Social Media
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of video editing & design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects)
  • A passion for video editing, motion graphics & social media
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Interest in international TV a plus
