Job Description
The WDVM/WDCW the Teleprompter Operator will be responsible for Operating the teleprompter during live morning and evening newscasts, work with on-air talent with different speech patterns, match the information on the screen with what is occurring on the set ensure the working condition of the teleprompter system before on air the program.
Requirements & Skills:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced control room during a live newscasts
•Fluent in English
• Knowledge of ENPS systems a plus. Undergraduate degree in broadcasting or similar major required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to quickly multi-task is essential.
• Production live studio operations a plus
• One year television news gathering, and microwave experience is preferred.
