America's Test Kitchen is seeking a Staff Photographer to join the Digital Design team. Your day-to-day will include photographing Kitchen Equipment and Food Product Images for our Reviews team, headshots of our employees and TV/Video talent for promotional purposes, instructional step-by-step photography and styled food photography for our Magazine and Book teams, on-set photography stills for our TV/Video projects, and candid photography in our working kitchens.

America's Test Kitchen is seeking a Staff Photographer to join the Digital Design team. Your day-to-day will include photographing Kitchen Equipment and Food Product Images for our Reviews team, headshots of our employees and TV/Video talent for promotional purposes, instructional step-by-step photography and styled food photography for our Magazine and Book teams, on-set photography stills for our TV/Video projects, and candid photography in our working kitchens.
The Staff Photographer will input/update metadata and keywords into our DAM system (Canto Cloud) as well as edit, select, and ingest images into the DAM system. You will be collaborating with Art Directors and Editorial Approvers in order to stay on brand with imagery. You will also be expected to assist the Studio Manager with photography equipment maintenance and other photographers on set with grip and lighting help.
What You Bring to the Team:

What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography and/or 5 years of related demonstrable experience shooting Photography in the field
- Canon Cameras, Lenses and Accessories (Nikon experience fine too)
- Studio Lighting techniques, ProFoto lighting and modifiers
- Natural Lighting techniques
- Experience using Digital Asset Management systems; Canto Cloud a plus
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software, e.g., Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere
- Strong Organization skills and Knowledge of photography editing, manipulation, retouching and color processing
- Strong Social skills, ability to get along with different teams of collaborators in a shared space on a daily basis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate creative and technical concepts to fellow collaborators
