Responsibilities:
- Assist in the supervision of the editorial vision of each day, including suggesting stories and guests for the show.
- Supervise and copy edit segment producers’ scripts.
- Coach and mentor show staff.
- Write and produce segments on occasion.
- Become involved in planning process.
- Oversee show rundown and live broadcast from control room.
- Oversee digital and social media copy for show accounts
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Six years of Editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment, ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change.
- Five years producing day-of-news programming/content
- Experience developing producer talent.
