Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the supervision of the editorial vision of each day, including suggesting stories and guests for the show.
  • Supervise and copy edit segment producers’ scripts.
  • Coach and mentor show staff.
  • Write and produce segments on occasion.
  • Become involved in planning process.
  • Oversee show rundown and live broadcast from control room.
  • Oversee digital and social media copy for show accounts
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Six years of Editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment, ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change.
  • Five years producing day-of-news programming/content
  • Experience developing producer talent.

  • Strong time management skills.
