Job Description
Photographer/Editor – Will work under the direction of the Executive Producer and will be responsible for gathering video and audio material in order to create compelling stories and segments for lifestyle content and programming.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather compelling pictures and sound that tell a story, while maintaining the “house style”, or look and feel of the program.
- Edit program segments in a timely manner, while maintaining quality and clarity throughout.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Exceptional photography skill (video/still)
- Broadcast news or commercial production experience.
- Experienced in adverse environments or conditions. (water, high altitude, extreme temps, etc.)
- Advanced editing capabilities, expert in the use of picture and sound to create compelling stories.
- Skilled in the use of Adobe Creative Suite and associated software.
- Proven record of dependability
- Ability to resolve various problems which require general knowledge of the company policies and procedures, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Capable and willing to resolve unexpected problems and be flexible to manage unscheduled changes.
- Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
- Substantial, sustained physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
- Lift, move, and carry up to 75 pounds on occasion.
