Newscast Associate Producer/Media Producer

WAVY-TV 10/ WVBT FOX43 is searching for a dynamic ASSOCIATE NEWS PRODUCER who wants to tell compelling stories, dominate breaking news and severe weather coverage, and promote the values of journalism on air, online and to social media.

We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, has strong news judgment, is passionate about journalism, and has a proven ability to work within an award-winning team. 

The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability and willingness to help produce newscasts with creativity and flair; this includes writing clear, concise copy on deadline, working under pressure, and showcasing great video and emotional sound, and easy to understand graphics. College degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years mainline news producing experience preferred.

Overnights, nights and weekends may be required; candidate must be willing and able to work any and all shifts, including holidays.
