Job Description
- Will operate Sony cameras, live trucks and all related equipment.
- Must be able to edit all types of content quickly, accurately and creatively.
- Must have good time management skills.
- Works with various reporters and producers to provide input and ideas to advance stories based on creative experience.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a general assignment News photographer (or similar position) on a regularly scheduled newscast. Will be proficient in nonlinear editing systems Premier Pro and Edius preferred.
- Shoot, edit and operate microvans under pressure while meeting deadlines for live newscasts. Understand bonded cellular transmission using portable packs (such as LiveU) and ViaSat KA satellite. Must be able to carry up to 55 lbs. of camera equipment in various conditions.
- Must have a valid CA driver license.
