FloSoftball is a leading online destination for softball news, events, and analysis. As the company looks to increase its social media output, we are seeking a talented social media contractor to join our team. The contractor will be responsible for creating engaging social media posts, managing social media platforms, and driving organic monetization results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute social media strategies that align with FloSoftball’s goals and brand voice
- Manage and grow FloSoftball’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube
- Drive social media executions and strategy leading to increased monetization results
- Collaborate with FloSoftball’s editorial team to create social media campaigns that promote FloSoftball’s content and events
- Optimize editorial content for social media platforms to increase engagement and drive traffic to the FloSoftball website
- Create engaging social media content that drives engagement and encourages users to share and interact with our content
- Monitor and respond to social media comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
- Analyze social media metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to increase engagement
- Maintain relationships with influencers in the softball space to drive social media engagement and reach new audiences
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience as a social media manager or social media contractor
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to create engaging content that aligns with FloSoftball’s brand voice
- Ability to optimize and edit video content quickly for social platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze social media metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Knowledge of the softball industry is strongly recommended
- Experience working with influencers in the track and field industry is a plus
BONUS POINTS:
Experience in Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
