Job Description

Scope of Position: This role will support WinShape’s video initiatives and the Marketing & Communication team’s overarching goal of sharing transformational stories that inspire program participation and give glory to God through video. This position will execute a variety of projects and campaigns supporting WinShape’s five ministry areas, focusing on postproduction execution, including content for social media channels, marketing campaigns, and more.

Reports to: Manager, Film & Video

Responsibilities
  • Edits a wide range of video projects, including, but not limited to, stories, highlight reels, talking head features, and teaching content/curriculum
  • Edits and optimizes videos for social media platforms
  • Embraces innovative ways to tell stories across WinShape’s social media channels
  • Participates in all aspects of the video production process, including preproduction, production, and postproduction
  • On assigned projects, participate as a crew member during production days
  • Handles video data management & organization
  • Ability to handle and manage high-end film/video equipment
  • Supports file management for all video projects, including project files and footage 
  • Identifies opportunities to create fresh video content by utilizing new trends and tools
  • Ensures logical sequencing through organizing and trimming footage segments
  • Handles critical deadlines and short turnarounds in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of proven editing experience for social and digital platforms
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong emphasis in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • High attention to detail and high level of resourcefulness
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing are a plus
  • Experience with digital cinema cameras and other film/video equipment
  • Experience in lensing and lighting for a variety of scenarios 
  • Ability to self-manage on projects and demonstrate strong time-management skills 
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends 
  • Availability to travel for work occasionally
  • Willingness to either relocate to Rome, Georgia, or travel to Rome as required
  • Familiarity in capturing and editing audio for videos 
  • Adherence and commitment to the policies, procedures, and values set forth by the WinShape Foundation 
Location: Atlanta Metro area
