Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as edit or production lead for a full range of video projects, from research to shooting to post production
- Work closely with the video team in leading weekly MLS streaming production needs
- Creatively ideating and editing video content for Apple TV and weekly shows
- Optimizing edited video content for platform specific distribution
- Supply research preproduction and scripts for shoots
- Coordinate talent and production crew scheduling
- Help with transcription or fact checking on projects as needed
- Aid in the operation of studio or field production equipment as necessary
- Own delivery of content to league for streaming platform
- Most importantly, strive to make smart, creative, industry-leading work you’re proud of
Qualifications
- At least three or four plus years’ experience in a professional digital video/television production role
- Expertise with Adobe Creative programs, specifically Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Expertise with working on a range of video content, including studio segments, explainers, and features
- An understanding of the current digital video landscape and the role video plays on each, including a knowledge of how to optimize for specific platforms
- Deep understanding of news and story lines, with sound journalistic ethics and judgment
- Extensive knowledge of and a passion for the soccer and MLS
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive under pressure
