Job Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Video Editor to work in our studios to help edit video for newscasts. The ideal candidate must have the aptitude to develop strong news judgment, the ability to work a flexible schedule, and work well with others while under pressure.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Creatively edit video to match scripts for daily newscasts.
- Take in microwave, LiveU and satellite feeds.
- Contribute video via email and shared server.
- Set up and record zoom interviews.
- Assist the production team during newscasts in multiple capacities including teleprompter operation, camera operation, and floor directing.
- Must be able to multi-task efficiently and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience editing news (non-linear), computer literacy, and newsroom experience is preferred.
- A college degree and two to three years of experience is also preferred.
- This person must be able to work in the office.
