Job Description

As an Assistant, you will be responsible for administrative and other supportive tasks. The ideal candidate for this role is proactive, organized, efficient, and capable of achieving amazing results in a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handle complex scheduling responsibilities, with exceptional attention to the details of calendar management in a fast-paced environment
  • Watch cuts and read incoming scripts to write loglines and share notes
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare itineraries
  • Prepare and manage expense reports
  • Coordinate meetings with 50+ attendees: prepare agendas, secure and plan space, facilitate content development, follow up as appropriate
  • Attend meetings, take notes and track action items
  • Be familiar with all internal department points of contact, as well as their counterparts at the Network or Streamer
  • Discreetly handle confidential and sensitive information
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of previous administrative assistant experience at a studio, network, production company, agency or management company
  • Strong passion for a career in comedy development, and a desire for a career in TV
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail while handling multiple simultaneous projects under deadline pressure
  • Consume comedy programming and understands the comedy landscape
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – collaboration skills are essential
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, nothing is too large or too small and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Capacity to engage professionally with associates and managers at every level
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs/Spreadsheets
  • Ability to problem solve and a relentless pursuit of better ways
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of scripted development experience
  • Historical knowledge of, and passion for, media, film and television
  • Experience with entertainment industry professionals both in front of and behind the camera
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
